In The SON Shine: Have I Lost My Fire?
In The SON Shine: Have I Lost My Fire?: "Have I lost my fire? I don't think so!! I just read my daughter's blog 'Dawn Brocco's Life & Design' where she moans over having lost ..."
Coming To A Close
As 2010 slowly creeps to its end, I want to leave this final thought. After reading the "Word Among Us" for today 12/31/10, the ending meditation is so appropriate for myself.
"Lord, I trust in YOU.
When I start to get fearful, help me
to remember that everything was
made through you, and that you
will see it through to the end!
YOU are my solid foundation"
When I start to get fearful, help me
to remember that everything was
made through you, and that you
will see it through to the end!
YOU are my solid foundation"
Wishing the World a Blessed, healthy and Peaceful New Year.

First Storm of the Winter
We have a little more than 2 feet of snow with drifts that are at least 5 foot high. The wind is hollering and blowing the soft snow into mini tornadoes.
We are literally snowed in.
Unlike last years storm this snow is not the really wet kind so it hasn't stuck to the tree limbs causing them to break. Last year we lost 6 or 7 large branches off of the Pines.
My hubby managed to dig a path so we could take our little dog outside to do his [you know what].
It is 4:32pm and already its starting to get dark. I need to turn on my lights.
There is something comforting about knowing we are snowed in!!
The New Year 2011 will be here very shortly. I truly wish Peace and Prosperity for All. God Bless our men and women who are serving their country overseas. O Lord, let the New Year be the beginning of a lasting Peace....Amen
